TAKANAL is a hypoallergenic aminovinyl compound, one of the synthesized intermediates of cyanin compounds. It has outstanding properties to activate cell metabolism which help stimulate hair growth. In the circumstance whereby the skin becomes weak by malnutrition, abnormal lipids metabolism, and other causes, our clinical experiments by using TAKANAL have shown quite goods results on hair growth. TAKANAL is also absorbed by hair itself keeping it soft, healthy and naturally brilliant, and prevents falling hair as well as stopping dandruff.
In a clinical study of the Japanese product TAKANAL, a 92% effectiveness resulted in the growth of downy and eventually coarser hair. Three amino acids, cysteine, serine and glutamic acid, when applied topically to the scalp and combined with the TAKANAL produced a thicker, accelerated growth.

Dr. S. Nishijima of Kyoto University found that TAKANAL was observed to be the most effective compound in stimulating hair growth among 10 kinds of aminovinyl type compound. In his reports he mentioned that TAKANAL was effective against alopecia areata caused by malnutrition or abnormal lipids metabolism.

Prof. K. Itoh of Gifu University also proved that the soybean oil containing TAKANAL was very effective against alopecia areata.
